Post To FriendFeed (Wordpress Plugin)

June 23, 2009 · Posted in General Web

Post To FriendFeed is a plugin by Sudar which claims to push posts directly from Wordpress blogs to Friendfeed and include images and excepts, rather than relying on the simple FriendFeed method which only pulls the title and a link.

So I’ve decided to try it out with this post, as such I’ve included the image of the options menu below to see if it is passed to FF.

I’ll update this post when I know if it works…

[EDIT] Hmm… It didn’t seem to work but I will investigate and try again later!

[EDIT 2] After leaving a comment on Sudar’s site he says he is now looking into the plugin’s compatibility with Wordpress 2.8. Which is nice :)

I just stole your idea :) and installed a different FFDirect which works fine. However now I would have to remove my blog from this feed which kindof makes it less visible if you use the FF badge and stuff. I am debating…

Yeah I have FFDirect now as that previous one didn’t work, haven’t tried it yet though. – Good point about removing the blog from FF, is there a way to just deactivate it like you can with the Facebook one?

No :( . One has to remove it completely from FF. No way to suspend/disable.
